In no time at all, the KfW's 300 million subsidy for solar systems with electric cars was awarded! Many interested parties were left behind.
But if you have a house in Berlin then you are in luck!
In Berlin there is the Solarplus program, which still has funding available. SolarPLUS – Photovoltaic funding for Berlin – IBB Business Team GmbH (ibb-business-team.de)
For single and two-family houses, there is an average subsidy of €1,500 for 5kWh solar battery storage. In addition, the conversion of the meter cabinet to 100% is subsidized for old meter cabinets.
Things look even better for WEGs and owners of apartment buildings. Here, there is a 65% subsidy for the battery storage, as well as the installation costs of the battery and inverter as well as the energy management system. The meter conversion is subsidized in the same way as for single and two-family houses. In addition, the planning work of electricians for tenant electricity is partially subsidized through so-called meter concepts. In addition, the costs of static reports and the profitability calculation of the future solar system are supported with generous 65%.
Personally, I am surprised that at least the WEGs and apartment building owners have not run out of funds for this program long ago. Well, this is probably due to the slow decision-making processes in WEGs and the prioritization of other projects. In the case of apartment buildings, it is probably due to the low investment potential of the owners. Or the Berlin Solarplus program is simply not well known enough!
